With a major upgrade now underway at Bunnahabhain, here’s a view of how things were a couple of years back.
Old Bourbon casks are used to mature scotch single malt and blending whisky. However, sherry and other wine casks are used too. Here’s a new batch awaiting to be filled at Bunnahabhain distillery. Bunnahabhain is just a short walk or drive from Ardnahoe Shepherds hut.
